Ray and I took Samantha, Allen and Jamie to the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch on Saturday, and we all had a great time!
Samantha and Allen had a blast exploring the hay maze and running through the inflatable obstacle course.

They even got to hang out with some of their favorite movie stars!
Jamie was in a grouchy mood because he fell asleep on the way and wasn’t ready to wake up when we got there. I couldn’t get him to smile at all . . . not even on the hayride.

Daddy got him to smile, though! He put him up on a haystack and let him JUMP!

Jamie’s gorgeous longies were knit by Conny of Just Sheepy. The wool is Selah‘s Monster colorway on Honey Organic Merino dyed by Julie. Mmmm . . . they’re so soft and will be so warm for winter over our cloth fitted diapers.

Allen’s playing tackle football again this year and loving every minute of it. He’s on the 9/10 Bulldogs team, a newly formed team with some great coaches that we know well from past seasons, including his dad!

Yesterday was the boys’ fourth game, and their first win. They played so hard and were so excited when the game was over.

(That’s Allen still in his helmet in the bottom right corner.)
And a few fun postgame pictures:
