The FD Photo Contest – First Round of Voting

It’s time to pick the finalists! Choose your favorite three photos from each category: Baby Steps, On My Own and Friends & Family and then click the link below to vote.
You’ll only be allowed to vote one time, so be sure of your choices before clicking “Done”. Don’t forget to choose three photos from each category! The way the survey is set up, if you don’t choose three, your vote won’t count properly.
This round of voting will run through tomorrow (August 6th) at 10 a.m. central. I’ll announce the finalists tomorrow afternoon and the final vote will run for 24 hours through Saturday.

Week 2 Drawing and Big Kid Charlie Tees

Lisa and about a dozen other moms are testing out the Charlie Tee in sizes 5 to 14 this week. (The testers for sizes 12 months to 5T finished up last week.) Here are a few pictures that I’ve taken of the different variations on my big kids.

You may have noticed that Jamie is wearing a hoodie in those pictures, in spite of the fact that it’s in the triple digits here. He’s actually insisted on wearing it everyday since I sewed it up three days ago. Soon, you’ll be able to sew up one for your little guy or gal, too! It’s one of the options to my next pattern release, The Charlie Tee!
I’m excited about all the variations that this pattern offers. The options include a basic tee . . .

Isn’t he adorable? My friend, Michelle, made the sweet blanket. The cowboy print is one of our favorites, and it’s the perfect size for a floor blanket, except for maybe when the little guy playing on it, grabs it and then rolls over and over and over . . .
